I may have missed Selma & Montgomery, but I didn't miss Zomba, Malawi this morning when the esteemed lecturers at Chancellor College protested against the death of academic freedom. Marchers took their petition to the Inspector General to protest the spying on lecturers during their classes and their attempt to silence a Poly Sci professor as he lectured on the riots in Tunisia and Egypt. The march was quiet and peaceful. The college is shut down until lecturers return to work. I guess that will depend on how their three petitions are answered by the police. Peace.

ReplyDeleteIt is good to see the prof's standing up for free speech. You look both happy and excited.
